The Ground is Waiting - 2026 Program

Hello,

2026 is shaping up to be a special year — one focused on reconnecting with how the human body is designed to move, feel, and adapt.

After the energy of the first Human Foot workshop, I’m excited to share what’s coming next. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, movement coach, or simply curious about more natural and resilient movement, there will be several ways to dive deeper in 2026.

Human Foot Workshops — 2026

In 2026, three editions of the Human Foot Workshop are planned.

These two-day professional seminars are designed for physiotherapists, podiatrists, coaches, and movement professionals who want to truly understand the foot — not just as an isolated structure, but as a key driver of posture, movement efficiency, and long-term resilience.

What to expect:

  • Functional foot anatomy & biomechanics

  • Sensory input, motor control, and stability

  • The foot’s role in gait, posture, and the kinetic chain

  • Assessment tools and practical applications

  • Corrective strategies and natural movement principles

Each workshop is hands-on, clinically relevant, and grounded in both movement science and real-world practice.

Natural Movement, Mind & Body Retreat — Ardennes

In addition to the workshops, 2026 will also mark the start of something different.

The Natural Movement, Mind & Body Retreat in the Ardennes is an immersive experience where movement slows down, sensations become sharper, and learning happens through doing.

This retreat is about:

  • Natural movement in nature

  • Reconnecting with ground, terrain, and variability

  • Nervous system regulation and body awareness

  • Moving, breathing, resting, and resetting

Less theory. More experience. Time to feel what natural movement really means.

Launch of the E-book: The Barefoot Transition Handbook

Finally, I’m excited to announce the launch of my first e-book:

The Barefoot Transition Handbook

This practical guide is written for anyone curious about barefoot or minimalist footwear — and unsure where or how to start.

Inside the handbook:

  • Why modern footwear changes how we move

  • What the foot needs to adapt safely

  • Common mistakes during barefoot transitions

  • Progressive strategies to build strength and resilience

  • How to integrate barefoot principles into daily life

Whether you’re a professional or simply someone wanting healthier feet, this handbook is designed to be clear, realistic, and actionable.

One Common Thread

Workshops. Retreat. E-book.

Different formats — but one shared goal:

helping people move closer to how the human body was designed to function.

Warm greetings,

Anton, The Barefoot Physiotherapist
