Human Foot Seminar - Antwerp - 16&17 November 2025
Human Foot Seminar - Antwerp - 16&17 November 2025
HuMan Foot
An intensive course dedicated to those who want to deeply understand the role of the foot in human biomechanics. Through functional tests, postural analysis, and re-education strategies, you will learn to read and treat the foot as the origin of stability, efficiency, and injury prevention.
HuMan FOOT is much more than a course about the foot: it is a journey into the deep understanding of the human body, starting from its foundation. The foot, often overlooked, is in fact a fundamental sensor for balance, posture, and the efficiency of every movement.
During the course, we will analyze the anatomical structure, neurological functions, and fascial connections of the foot, to understand how it influences every single motor action — from walking to training, up to sports performance.
A central aspect of the course is the role of the foot as a sensory organ, capable of constantly perceiving and adapting to the surfaces it moves on. This sensory function directly affects movement quality, neuromuscular responsiveness, and injury prevention. Learning to stimulate and correctly interpret this information is essential to build more efficient and safer movement strategies.
Through a mix of theory and practice, you will explore specific tests, corrective exercises, and treatment strategies aimed at improving foot function and, consequently, the entire body system.
Intended for physiotherapists, podiatrists, coaches, trainers, and movement professionals, HuMan FOOT will provide you with concrete tools to read, assess, and intervene on one of the most important links in the kinetic chain.

👣 Anton Ghys – Seminar Leader, HuMan FOOT
Anton Ghys is a movement specialist, educator, and physiotherapist with a deep passion for the foot as the foundation of human performance, posture, and injury prevention. With over a decade of experience in human biomechanics, Anton has dedicated his career to understanding how the foot influences the entire body — from subtle postural shifts to explosive athletic movements.
Blending knowledge from fields such as physiotherapy, functional movement, neurodevelopment, and manual therapy, Anton offers a multidisciplinary approach to assessing and treating movement dysfunctions. His teaching emphasizes the often-overlooked functions of the foot and how they shape our ability to move efficiently and safely in any environment.
Anton guides professionals on a journey to rediscover the foot not just as a structure, but as a dynamic sensory organ — key to stability, coordination, and longevity in movement. His seminars are known for their high-level content, hands-on learning, and immediately applicable tools for therapists, trainers, and coaches alike.
Whether working with elite athletes or rehabilitation clients, Anton’s approach is grounded, evidence-informed, and deeply connected to natural movement principles. His goal: to help professionals reconnect with the body's foundation and transform how they view human movement — from the ground up.
